Od dziecka jedynym hobby była fotografia. Należałam do różnych kółek zainteresowań lecz fotografia pozostała najdłużej. Kółka szkolne fotograficzne, a w starszym już wieku przy Miejskim Domu Kultury oraz Wojewódzkim Urzędzie Miasta, były jak nobilitacja. Moje zdjęcia nie zdobyły pierwszej nagrody na wystawie prac miejskich i wojewódzkichfotografów, ale były wyróżnione.

Jedną z przyjemniejszych zajęć w fotografii było wywoływanie zdjęć oraz ich powiększanie. Oczekiwanie na pokazujące się postacie, rzeczy, widoki itp.na papierze fotograficznym było bardzo ekscytujące.

Początki pracy z kolorowym papierem fotograficznym ochłodziły moje uczucia. Późniejsze wprowadzenie maszyn całkowicie oziębiło.

Posiadam całą gamę aparatów fotograficznych oraz obiektywów ale tylko z pobudek sentymentalnych.

Obecnie przyszły czasy aparatów fotograficznych w aparatach telefonicznych i wszelkiego rodzaju smartphony oraz iphony prześcigają się w ustawieniu jak najlepszej jakości wykonywanych zdjęć. Jednak nic nie zastąpi prawdziwej lustrzanki.

Moje zainteresowanie fotografią zmalało, moge powiedzieć, że zanikło. Aparaty fotograficzne same w sobie nie posiadały nadmiernej wagi były lekkie ale obiektywy były bardzo ciężkie. Przy mojej skromnej posturze udźwignąć aparat, kilka obiektywów oraz statyw to był nie lada wyczyn.

Teraz pstryka się byle jakie zdjęcia iphonem i w historii telefonu mamy ich tysiące. A w zasadzie nie mamy żadnego wartościowego.

Do jednej żabki w stawie, nachyla się kilkanaście osób aby zrobić zdjęcie. Trzepią zdjęcia bez sensu, jestem tam i nie jestm, w tej grupie. Bo żabka niedługo podzieli los dinozaura.

Dobrze mieć zdjęcie żabki, dla następnych pokoleń.

Since childhood, one of my many hobbies was photography. I belonged to various interest groups, but photography stayed the longest. School photography groups, and in my older years at the Municipal Cultural Center and the Voivodeship City Office, were like an honor. My photos did not win the first prize at the exhibition of works by city and voivodeship photographers, but they were distinguished.

One of the more enjoyable activities in photography was developing and enlarging photographs. The anticipation of seeing figures, things, views, etc. appear on the photographic paper was very exciting.

The beginnings of working with colored photographic paper cooled my feelings. The later introduction of machines cooled them down completely.

I have a whole range of cameras and lenses, but only for sentimental reasons.

Today, the times of cameras in phone cameras has come, and all kinds of smartphones and iPhones compete in setting the best possible quality of the photos taken. However, nothing can replace a real SLR camera.

My interest in photography has diminished, I can say it has disappeared. Cameras themselves were not excessively heavy, they were light, but the lenses were very heavy. With my modest stature, lifting a camera, several lenses and a tripod was no small feat.

Now we take random photos with an iPhone and in the history of the phone we have thousands of them. And in fact we do not have fre valuable ones.

A dozen or so people lean over to take a photo of a single frog in a pond. They take pictures without any sense, I am there and I am not, in this group. Because the frog will soon share the fate of the dinosaur.

It is good to have a photo of a frog, for the next generations.
